In times like these it’s more important than ever to support smaller local businesses. On Third Street lies Lola’s Cafe Bar, an inviting new cafe that has opened its doors to the people of Lake Oswego. 

After a few visits I have come to really enjoy this new venue. Along with it being near many other shops and restaurants, it has a spacious outdoor seating area and great atmosphere. One aspect that caught my attention from the very beginning of my visit was how cohesive and welcoming the environment of the cafe was. It was decorated beautifully and has more services to offer other than just the food on the menu, such as the shelves filled with local and sustainable products. I thought the separate drink fridge and happy hour board were a nice touch.

The menu is filled with an array of healthy drinks, meals and snacks. There were vegetarian and vegan options so anyone could find a meal that would completely satisfy them. Each of the dishes on the menu that I have been able to try have all been delicious and filling. One of the biggest pros I experienced was their welcoming staff. They were always ready to meet customers’ needs, whatever they may be. With a seamless ordering and payment process, getting your food is made easy. Each visit my orders didn’t take more than a few minutes to be prepared. 

Currently because of Covid restrictions, Lola’s is only open for take out and patio seating. Make sure to stop by and support a local business!
