Rihanna’s pregnancy has taken the world by storm. Not only are there new controversial opinions about her relationship with fellow singer A$AP Rocky, but about her mid pregnancy outfits. Rihanna has not let the pregnancy affect her fashion choices in the least. Often pairing low rise jeans with bright colors and lavish coats, she has opted  not to hide her pregnancy, but accentuate it.

 A picture from one of her first pregnancy looks at Gucci Milan showed her in a lace and latex crop top, black flared pants emblazoned with a dragon on the leg and a metallic shoulder length headpiece. Her fashion choices can be best described during an interview with Vogue magazine she had: “When I found out I was pregnant, I thought to myself, There’s no way I’m going to go shopping in no maternity aisle. I’m sorry—it’s too much fun to get dressed up. I’m not going to let that part disappear because my body is changing.” Rihanna’s bold fashion choices remain a constant reminder that no one’s sense of joy in their body should be defined by anyone but themself. If you want to do something, do it. Don’t wait until you look the way other people want you to look to try something new.
