“It was my goal going into the season… I was excited about [breaking the record]” said junior Dylan Gustaff. “I’ve been swimming competitively since I was 4 and the past couple years with Covid, I have not been able to do high school swimming. This year I wanted to go in with better goals and a better mindset to really step up my game in the high school season. It feels great that I left my mark on the LOHS high school swimming community. Hopefully next year I can lower it more and continue to swim in college.”
