ToMarrow club to save lives
Students for ToMarrow club will be having a fundraiser from Dec. 16-20 at lunch with candy canes on sale for $1 near the cafeteria. The first ever high school club aiming to register donors for the international bone marrow registry, Students for ToMarrow is working towards a final registration drive in May, with the ultimate goal of raising awareness and providing education surrounding the importance of the bone marrow registry to get as many donors in the system as possible. However, registration costs are high, and fundraisers are essential in getting eligible people registered to raise the chance of being a match. Bone marrow transplants from matching donors can save the lives of blood cancer patients, so each person on the registry increases the chance of a potentially life-saving match. Get in the holiday spirit while supporting a cause that saves lives by buying a candy cane at lunch from Dec. 16 through Dec. 20!
