With the leaving of former choir director Zach Schwalbach, Tara Bamford stepped in to fill the role. Bamford studied piano performance at Wheaton College and music education at Arizona State University before teaching at Milwaukie High School. 

“I love music so I feel lucky that I get to spend my days doing what I love while working with students. I also love helping students gain confidence in themselves as people and performers,” she said. In her free time she plays piano and explores Oregon.
