A new Chick-fil-A has opened in Lake Oswego on Kruse Way. Chick-fil-A is known for its popular chicken sandwiches, waffle fries and quick customer service. The LO location has been doing great since its opening date, Thursday July 10, 2025, with steady crowds during lunch and dinner hours. This new location is also a great opportunity for LOHS students to get a job, whether a full time summer job or a school year side hustle“I wanted to work at Chick-fil-A to work at a place that values the surrounding community, with  like-minded, outgoing peers,” states junior Mario Welliver who is “excited for the restaurant to have more opportunities to be involved with the community and impact our town for the better.” Unlike many other Chick-fil-A restaurants, though, Lake Oswego does not have a drive through, which makes it a little less convenient for customers in a hurry. They don’t allow drive throughs in the Kruse Oaks Blvd area just like the Starbucks across the street from it. “I feel sad because it is less convenient,” says sophomore Avery McQuaid who’s go-to order is frosted lemonade and waffle fries. Still many customers do appreciate the clean, modern dining space and warm atmosphere at this new location. One thing is for sure: Chick-fil-A has officially joined the menu in Lake Oswego.
