Beverly Close is LOHS’s new educational assistant, and she can’t wait to “help kids learn and accomplish their goals.” Close loves being at the school, and she’s most looking forward to simply being immersed in the school atmosphere. Close is a big NASCAR fan, and when she isn’t watching the races she enjoys reading, watching some reality TV (such as “Big Brother” and “Survivor”), and a little bit of crochet. Close is excited to help students out, and she will be a great resource here at the school.
